Choose your way to play

MultiVerse Tactics is a free browser auto battler featuring Dragon Ball and One Piece fighters. If you enjoy Teamfight Tactics (TFT), shop decisions, formation planning and trait synergies are a familiar starting point. MVT has its own roster, rules and interactive Captain encounters. Start with solo play to explore at your own pace, or join a casual online lobby. CPUs fill open places. Ranked play requires a verified account; casual and solo play let you get started as a guest.

Choose a Captain you want to play. Your Captain represents you and takes part in interactive encounters. The fighters you recruit for your board are your crew; picking a Captain does not lock your shop to that character’s universe.

Recruit a useful first team

Spend gold in the shop to recruit fighters. Check a fighter’s role and traits before buying: a durable front line gives ranged allies time to attack. Keep useful duplicates on your bench, but leave room for new recruits. Three matching copies combine into a higher star level.

Use the champion reference to compare a fighter’s stats and abilities at each star. A stronger individual fighter can help immediately, while a shared trait may strengthen several teammates. Read both before replacing part of your formation.

Position, watch, then adjust

Place tougher fighters toward the enemy and protect fragile damage dealers behind them. Watch who gets targeted first, which allies survive long enough to use their abilities, and whether your damage reaches the enemy’s important fighters.

Between battles, inspect your crew and scout rivals. Change one thing you can evaluate: move a vulnerable fighter, improve an important unit, or add a trait breakpoint. A lost fight is useful evidence about your next purchase, not proof that every part of the team is wrong.

Make your upgrades count

Items and augments can change which fighter should carry a team. Read the item recipes before combining components, and consider who can use the finished item well. Choose augments that support the fighters and traits you can actually field.

Keep some flexibility in your gold. A reroll is a chance to find a useful recruit, but spending everything looking for one copy leaves fewer options for the next round. Balance immediate board strength against upgrades you can realistically complete.

Be ready for encounters

The run includes more than automatic team battles. Captain Recruitment lets you fight for recruits. Captain Clash puts your Captain under direct control. Story boss fights add their own timing prompts and finales. Follow the encounter’s controls rather than assuming the normal board rules apply.
